From beginning to end "The Hazards of Skinny Dipping" by Alyssa Rose Ivy keeps you on your toes the entire time. I can safely say that Alyssa Rose Ivy has a way with words. I've found that most college scene based books feel more like a play. Almost as if the entire book were dialogue but with no substantial plot events and or climax at any point, this is not the case here. From just chapter one alone this book has you yearning to read on until you reach the end. Sad to say I put off reading this book for fear it would be another unadventurous college narrative. The author's style of writing was that very much of her other books. Even just reading through the different chapters of The Hazards of Skinny Dipping, I could not help but compare the events to her other pieces of works, such as; Flight and Focus. For the characters dialogues and actions were almost identical. I can only hope that there will be more stories of this nature by the author.
