EXCERPT~

Slowly, I sit up and stretch, blinking a few times to adjust to the light. If someone watches me, I want to be as natural as possible to not tip them off. After grabbing my food bag, I hop off the bench and stroll over to the trashcan. In my peripheral vision, I catch a streak of black as it runs past my car, too small to be a man. I glance at my car and freeze. 

A large, black panther sits on the hood. With its amber eyes staring at me, it lifts its head and roars.

Panicked, instinct takes over, and I whirl around and run for the woods behind the picnic table. I realize too late that this creature will out run me in seconds, but there are no alternatives. If I’m lucky, I can loop back around to the car before the cat turns me into lunch.

Not far into the woods, I spot a split in the path that should lead back to the parking lot. I quickly check behind me, relieved not to see the animal. Maybe it didn’t chase me? I take the hard right and stop dead in my tracks.

MY REVIEW~

This was only the third serial I've read and I'm gradually starting to fall in love with them! I'm very curious to see how book 2 will end up. L.A. Kirk's soon to be released serial had some shifter hotties with just a dash of humor mixed in. Heart of Five is a supernatural shifter serial that you won't want to miss!

The Offer was one of the first serials I've read. For being my first though it was amazing. In just 37 pages the author brought humor, steam, and truly yummy eye candy!

The offer dives right into the juicy good bits. I think I'm loving this more than whats considered the norm of RH with an entire 24 chapters in a book. A serial doesn't have to spend five chapters delving into a back story and giving the reader countless words of the heroines description. From chapter 1 - 3 we meet the story's focus, the demons (yum). Boy are they yummy! 

An enjoyable read for those who don't mind serials and are simply looking for a light and sexy-fun read. That ENDING though has me thinking what will happen next and I think I can't wait to find out *hint *sexy demons are bound to play a part.

Review

     So this book was an awesome. This is a vampire paranormal romance. In my opinion what makes this an interesting book is that it is not a vampire romance cliche. The main character Sophia is a half-blood vampire. She is the daughter of the original vampire, who turns out to be Cain from the bible. So that makes her royalty among vampires.. She has a sadistic vampire brother and he is after a human Sophia befriends. Sophia ends up befriending two vampires named Dante and Tavian. The romance comes into effect with Sophia and Dante. Sophia's brother isn't the only problem that is going on. Dante's and Tavian's vampire sire has come back for Dante. There is other information I would give you from the book but you have to read it if you want to know more. This isn't just present time information, there are parts where Sophia talks about her past too.I love Sophia as a character. She isn't one of those female main characters who just waits around to be saved.

     This is such an enjoyable book and it is a series. When I read this, I was sucked into the book. I totally recommend this book. It is an awesome read and I think that it should be given a chance. If you do hope you enjoy it and happy reading.

“Yeah, this year will be great!” a male voice shouts from behind me.

Startled, I twist around and slip. My heart thunders in my chest as my feet leave the ground. Free falling, I fling my arms out, desperate for something to anchor me.

“Whoa, there.” A warm arm encircles my waist, catches me against a warm chest. “Be careful. Those heels are dangerous.”

I glance up into golden-brown eyes, surrounded by a thick fringe of lashes. Heavy, dark brown eyebrows slant upward as his mouth curves into a grin. My pulse pounds harder, now that I'm safe.

“Thank you.” A blush stains my cheeks, and I curse the translucent skin that came with my red hair. 

“That's some heartbeat you have there.” He sets me on my feet but keeps a hand on my back as if worried I'll fall again. The heat of his palm sinks through my light sweater, burning its way into my flesh.

“Thank you.” I shake myself and stammer, “For catching me. Falling hurts.”

“Yeah, I know the feeling.” His gravely voice rumbles inside his chest.

I frown, the sound pinging in my memory.

“Nice catch, dude,” the same guy from earlier calls. A shaggy, black haired head pops over my rescuer's shoulder. Grass-green eyes rake over me, a smirk twisting the corner of his mouth. “Seriously, nice catch.”

“Stop it, you'll creep her out.” Another guy appears, black hair combed away from his face. Through a pair of wire-rimmed glasses, his serious green eyes glance over me. Tall and slender, the white button down school shirt hugs his body to accentuate the narrowness of his hips. “Forgive my brother, he has no manners.”

As my eyes shift between the two brothers, the first one stands straighter, moving away from his brown-haired friend. He pushes the black hair back from his face and turns to him. “Trust me, she's not creeped out, bro.”

“More like creeped *on*.” His brother glances at him, and they have the same straight-nosed profile, the same jawline. 

“Twins.” I look back at my rescuer.

His smile broadens, hand tightening on my waist. “Nice to finally see your face, Sparks.”

 MY REVIEW

Reading reverse harems is an an obsession I just can't kick. Matter of fact who would want to? The first work I've read of Lyn Forester was Beneath a Halo-Sky and I soon after that fell in love with her work. House of glass is no different. If you're looking for love, suspenseful thrills, and an awesome read highly recommend this one guys! Now I just have to find the patience for book 2...

~REVIEW~

I cried, I laughed, cried some more, was shocked, was hurt, then smiled then cried. This book had so many feels. I'm currently an emotional wreck right now. I don't want to reveal any spoilers but I will say this usually in a story you know who your villains are and you know who the good guys are and it's predictable. The bad guy usually comes out when the heroine is at her lowest and she's forced to take action. After reading Everlasting Flame, I'm questioning my sanity! Nobody is who they seem. The bad guys are all bad and the good guys well they definetly tow the line of borderline good and bad. Katelyn Anderson has managed to astound me I'm an emotional wreck but I'm happy like what the heck is that! It's not too often that I'm thrown that many surprises in a book. My attention never wavered after chapter one I enjoyed every second of Everlasting Flame my only regret is not picking this up sooner!
