Omens by Suzanne Wright ARC Review

She's the one thing he can't control...
Keenan is the mistake Khloé knows she shouldn’t make. As an incubus, he’s got an inside track into everything that makes her tick, and even though she’s immune to his supernatural (and frankly unfair) sex appeal, that doesn’t stop her body - and her demon - craving him. If it were any other male, she’d have worked it out of her system ages ago and moved on, but this time she’s scared that if she ever gives in, she won’t escape unscathed.
Since Keenan’s traumatic childhood he’s made sure he’s always in control. Of himself, and of the world around him. But Khloé drives Keenan crazy. She’s an imp, so getting under people’s skin is basically her job description, but Khloé makes him - and his body - respond in ways he’s never known.
After a bet escalates the simmering tension between them it’s finally game on . . . and then the game turns deadly serious. A threat appears that could threaten the whole lair and Keenan’s desperate to protect Khloé any way he can - but will she accept his claim, and can he accept the power she has over him?

SERIES: Dark in You, Book One
Wright lives in England with her husband and two children. She enjoys reading, writing, reading, writing (sort of eat, sleep, write, repeat), spending time with her family, movie nights with her sisters, and playing with her two Bengal cats.
She’s worked in a pharmaceutical company, at a Disney Store, at a primary school as a voluntary teaching assistant, at the RSCPA, and has a First Class Honours degree in Psychology and Identity Studies.
She can’t remember a time when she wasn’t creating characters and telling their tales. Even as a child, she loved writing poems, plays, and stories. As an adult, Wright is the author of novels Shiver, From Rags, the Deep in Your Veins novels, the Dark in You series, the Phoenix Pack series, the Olympus Pride series, and the Mercury Pack series.

I absolutely loved Suzanne Wright’s newest release Omens! Khloé was everything I expected and more. After finishing the burn series I definitely needed more Khloé. Omens gave me that fix! Khloé and Keenan’s story was hot! Khloé (Harper’s cousin from Burn) had me roaring laughing at times I never knew what what was going to come out of her mouth as she was so random and spunky! Khloé spirit is fierce I’ll do it myself before I’ll ask for your help kind of girl and I truly admired that. It was a different spin than Burn. In Burn we had Knox, where the male was dominating and alpha like, it was over powering and swoon worthy With Kennan it’s hilarious how he still expects Khloé to listen (of course she doesn’t), but he admires that she doesn’t, and he protects her instead of lectures her to listen to him. He’s the opposite of Knox that way he’s not the dominating prime though either. He’s a man protecting a woman he’s showing interest in. Khloé’s story is a laugh out loud, stay up all night kind of read. I give this story five stars as I fell in love with the characters (all over again after Dark In You series)
